Winnie the Pooh

I've always loved Disney movies (Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, etc), and Winnie the Pooh was definitely a favorite of mine as a young child. I have come to like the classic version more than the cartoonish Disney one. My little cousin's nursery was classic Winnie the Pooh with cute blankets, stuffed animals, crib runner, framed prints (like the 2 above), etc. It's what I picture my first child's nursery to be,
perfect for a baby girl or a boy.

The story of Winnie the Pooh, I often forget, was "real", or based on reality of author A.A. Milne's son Christopher Robin. There will be an auction of this photo below and other personal photos in Los Angeles at Bonhams and Butterfields. I love this shot- old photos are fascinating to me.
And Christopher Robin really looks like him!
