No white after Labor Day

No white after Labor Day...a rule that seems to have relaxed the past few years as winter white becomes popular. Case in point, these JCrew matchstick cords in ecru I want to purchase and this cute DKNY winter white wool coat.

While this weekend will signal the official end of summer and I am sad to see the summer sun, dinners at outside patios, and beach days (even though I only had a few) end as well, fall is my favorite season. I can't wait for

apple picking, my all time favorite past time
me and Ms. Mac enjoying an apple last fall

comfy, chic looks like this one from Shop Bop
and wearing my autumnized outfits

Starbucks fall/winter drinks

Thanksgiving

Patriots football

the first snow

What do you look forward to each fall?

  4. What a cute apple pic :) I love the smell of apple picking.

Curse that rule. It stinks. I'll wear what I want when I want. Too bad if the fashion police don't like it. It's not like I'm famous and they'll stick me on a "worst" list. And if they did, haha, oh well doubt it'd really bother me anyway.

Fall means boots and layers and boots and layers...yup, I can't wait :)

    Happy weekend!

  8. no white after labor day is a silly rule! Case in point - WINTER white is fabulous. I can't wait till the first snow either. Well, it's like a double edged sword. I love it but I'm not looking forward to scraping the ice off my car all the time either!

  11. I say that as long as you aren't covered in white from head to toe, white is fine any time of the year!
