My mom will be hosting Thanksgiving this year at her house to about a dozen of family and friends. She will take care of most of the food- turkey and various sides. My grandma will bring her meat stuffing that I love, and I will be making this cornbread recipe (our girls Thanksgiving hostess made it and it was amazing!) I do have a cooking disability, but this recipe seems easy enough. Pics to come!
What are you making for Thanksgiving?

Oh my gosh I love cornbread!! I can't wait for Thanksgiving- we got a turducken this year, which will be interesting. I think that my main focus will be the pumpkin muffins. So good. Good luck with your cornbread!
ReplyDeleteYummmm.....
ReplyDeleteWe are in charge of the dessert this year, and my girls made the most adorable "Turkey" cupcakes!
I wish I could show you a picture...

Happy Thanksgiving Jaime! As we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the Philippines, I will just enjoy reading all the food that you and my other blogging friends will prepare and imagine that I'm celebrating with all of you.
ReplyDeletedo I love/trust you enough to try these when they're done? we'll have to wait and see i guess....

Ah - thank you for sharing! I have been scouring the net for an easy recipe I can make & bring over to dinner tomorrow. I may try turkey sausage cranberry stuffing.
ReplyDeleteI have never before had cornbread. I know, that is the weirdest thing to admit. I really want to try this - sounds yummy! I'm in charge of making the chicken, turkey burgers (we are having a mix of poultry given the fact that everyone wants something else), and stuffing. Hopefully that's it. You never know what mysterious request will pop up at the last minute! :)
