You asked, I have answered!

Thank you for all your questions from this post. It’s funny, the questions ended up mostly fitting into two categories: travel and fashion. These two subjects are near and dear to me, so here it goes….

So, what got you hooked on fashion lady? As far back as I can remember fashion was important to me. There are dozens and dozens of pictures of me as a child in the most insane, 1980s outfits. I dressed myself and let’s just say, in terms of accessories, I clearly believed the more the merrier. I was always wearing my “shiny shoes” (patent leather Mary Janes), and I had them in nearly every color. These days, my fave “shiny shoes” are my Tory Burch black patent flats, but in the end, my interest in fashion is still there!

What is your ideal era for fashions? (i/e 1950s, 1960s, etc) My ideal fashion era, would be the 1960s- hello Mad Men. Though I don’t watch this show (I know, I must start!), the clothes are so classic, beautiful, and figure flattering.

If you could wear one designer from head to toe, totally paid for by a benefactor, who would it be? This is a tough decision, and so I will say this:
New York- DVF
Milan- Prada
Paris- Chanel

Who is your favorite designer(s) and why? I have a wide range of favorite designers. The ones I name above are some of my favorites, and I will also add Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, and Juicy Couture, to that list. Why? Each one has such unique branding, they consistently show the best each season, and they inspire me with looks on my budget.

If you were to win a $1000 shopping spree to any store of your choice, which one would it be? and why? I’d have to go with a pair of fabulous Christian Louboutins! I've always wanted a pair of high-end, well-made, designer shoes, and this pair has caught my eye this year...

What is your favorite vacation destination? What is your favorite place in the world? Are there any other places on your travel list? Florida is where I vacation most often- I’d say.
(enjoying the pool in West Palm Beach in February)

Florence, where I studied abroad in 2006, is one of my most favorite places- the culture, art, food, environment, shopping…. it’s all so amazing!

Other favorites include Kennebunkport, ME where my family vacations every year,
(my Maine beach)

and Boston, of course.
(enjoying Beantown sports w/ my friends this year)

On my must visit list? India/Nepal to go to the Taj Mahal and the Himalayas; South Africa for a safari; Egypt to visit the tombs; and Greece to tour Athens and cruise the islands.

Here's a question that will really help me out. I've got a list of goals I want to achieve before I'm thirty, and I've posted the list on my blog. One of my goals: to have a well-followed blog. My question: what defines a "well-followed blog?" Is it number of comments, followers, hits? I'm not sure, but would love your input! I think a well-followed blog starts with quality content that you believe in. I started this blog because I am interested in art & fashion and the web & social networking. Also, I was preparing for possible unemployment and needed something to do! In the end I’d say, no matter if you have 5 followers (how I started out), nearly 100 (where I am now), or 500+ (where I dream to be), being true to yourself and exploring and posting on other blogs ensures a well-followed blog.

What do you REALLY want to do in life? I want to work in culture, arts, fashion, etc. and with people. I see myself exploring marketing, PR, and advertising. I don’t know 100% yet what that will entail. I do like blogging/social media, perhaps a position like this will come my way!

What's one goal you've set for yourself and have met or working towards meeting? Getting a new job has been my goal for a while. It's almost been met with a few job offers over the past year, but it hasn't been right yet. I continue working towards this goal by applying for new jobs and going on interviews.

What do you want for Christmas? Ah the age old question….
My list includes:

Sorry, brother, you asked. :)

Mine's not really a question you can answer with words but can you please post more pics or yourself? I feel like I have no idea what you look like. See above. :)

Thanks for all your questions!
