The final post in the orange and black series features items for the home and home decor. Designers and our fave mags have found a way to make this color combo work for every day life.
Orange and black is not just for Halloween. Designers send this color combo down the runway year-round. Orange and black chic, I'd say!

Coming up: orange and black for the home!
As an ode to Halloween this weekend, I have a series of posts that will feature all things orange and black. Starting with a fabulous collection of accessories, make-up, and clothes!
Stay tuned for orange and black runway looks and home decor!
I used to looove Gossip Girl, but frankly- and this is hard to admit in writing- since last year's season finale, I have found it to be a snooze-fest (EXCEPT and a big except here- that final scene with Chuck and Blair!). Anyone else feel this way? I am basically still watching for the witty C + B banter and fashions such as these...
I fear GG is headed for an O.C. ending...by the time that show ended in season 4, for me it wasn't too soon :( Thoughts?

Today is a rainy day in Boston, but I refrained from wearing my rain boots since I am going out to dinner tonight here. Here is what I am wearing:
- Faux fur vest from Burlington Coat Factory- not sure the brand, but it was $20!
- Anlo jeans
- Black Old Navy turtleneck- from last year
- Brown boots from Nordstrom- these are several years old, I think they are their BP brand
- D&G watch from Neiman Marcus
- OPI Little Red Wagon- fabulous red from their holiday 2008 collection!
What are you wearing today?
Skulls are not just for Halloween! Check out these fun accessories, perfect for any budget:
Seriously have my eye on the Bing Bang earrings ever since seeing them on I am a Greedy Girl.

So here are my costumes this year- I finally decided over the weekend! Every year I like to have 2 costumes, since Halloween is so fun and all. This year, one was chosen for me- Saturday night I am going to my future step-sister-in law's bachelorette party! We are all being Robert Palmer "Addicted to Love" back up dancers:
Friday night, my bff from Syracuse and I are being football players:
I will also be in NYC this year... What are you being this Halloween?
In celebration of Halloween this weekend, I thought I would show off some of my past costumes the past few years....
Pippi Longstocking (w/ my roomie, the army girl)
mock Sarah Palin
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Stay tuned to hear what I am going to be this year! :)
My friend D asked me for some inspiration for an outfit for her to wear to a fall wedding coming up. Her challenge to me: to find a dressy dress that is not too tight and that can accommodate her "problem", her boobs... ha! I found a gorgeous trapeze dress, for under $120, in a fabulous bright color. Adding silver gem accessories and a luxe looking faux bur bolero for when it gets chilly, D will be all set for these nuptials!
Comment with an item for me to style for you on next week's Style you Sunday! :)
My dream is to have a vanity- this one would work!

Love this simple & beautiful arrangement.
In my mind, there's no problem with her self proclaimed "problem"! How can you not love plates on walls?
Have a great weekend everyone! :)
