Earth Day 2010

Happy Earth Day!  With global warming a clear threat to our way of life and wild weather and natural disasters happening the past few years, it's more important than ever to take care of our planet for future generations. What we do now, makes all the difference in the world....literally!  What will you do today to celebrate Earth Day? Why don't you....
  • See Oceans and remember the beauty of our planet- ever since I saw this trailer at The Last Song movie, I have been dying to see this!
  • Recycle your old magazines- after flipping through and ripping out inspiration, I compile all my Vogues, Luckys, Marie Claires, etc. and make sure to put them in the blue bin.
  • Turn off lights and unplug unused electrical appliances.
  • Go green and buy eco-friendly clothing.
  • Cut down on plastic bag use- how chic are all these re-usable totes?

  15. Reusable bags, no plastic bags or cups or stuff in general and keep your carbon emissions to the minimum, plus bug your city to make sure the companies there are doing their part to conserve the environment. =) Sweet post dear, happy Earth Day!

  20. I use those ugly Stop & Shop reusable bags, and have been debating about buying prettier ones. I bought a set of Envirosax for my MIL for Christmas since she has a major plastic bag problem, but I wonder if she actually uses them!

  22. It's so hard NOT to be eco-friendly with such adorable reusable bags like that. I try to be earth-friendly by taking the bus to school every day and by making sure to recycle water bottles - but throwing out the lids. Hope you had an awesome Earth Day and that you have a great start to your weekend! :)
