I'll see you in another life, brotha

"I hope someone does for you what you just did for me."

In a word, perfect.  I think the producers ended LOST so well and did it justice for us viewers and for the characters.  When they were all in the church coming together, it reminded me of the final Titanic scene, when Rose finally dies and joins everyone from the boat. In the end, what happened happened. Those who died on the island really died. Those who got off the island lived their lives (and we are left to imagine those lives), died, and were then all together in the end, as it should be.

Now it's time to start from the beginning and watch it over again (which started over the weekend).

What did you think of the LOST finale?  Also, I really liked the Target-Lost commercials!

  6. It was the perfect ending. I do however feel that it all would have been much better if there were 4 seasons instead of 6. There was a lot of rubbish in this series that you just did not need.

I'm going to miss Des. Love him!

  9. I think there were a lot of great elements to the finale, but there were some things I would have like to see but didn't. I guess you can't have everything, right? I'm going to miss Lost.

  13. The Target commercials were good :)
At first I was a little annoyed but overall I'm liking it. Initially I thought there was a lot of confusion (were they dead all along? when did they die?) but once you let it settle, the ending did make a lot of sense.

  16. I finally watched it this morning (after avoiding all of Twitter and the internet) and it was really satisfying. Your summary of the ending really makes sense where the episode might have been more confusing still. I could not stop sobbing at parts. The Claire/Charlie parts really got me and the way it ended with Jack was perfect.

  17. Rarely does a series end with the same quality of writing in which it began. LOST is one of the best to do that. What are we going to do now?

  18. OMG you sound like my LOST soulmate. I said the same thing to my husband about the end reminding me of Titanic. I loved the entire episode as well! Perfect ending, in my opinion.

I also plan to try to rewatch the series this summer :-)

Love your blog! So glad I came across it.

  19. The ending was very touching. I didn't even think of the Titanic parallel. Then having Vincent there towards the end? I sobbing like a baby.

    Great blog!
