Halloween costume inspiration

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.  I love dressing up, and every year I have 1 or 2 costumes- in recent years, I've been a football player, a pirate, Sarah Palin, Pippi Longstocking...to name a few.  This year I am kinda stumped!  My initial thought is to be a cowgirl- inspired by my cowboy boot giveaway win from BonBon Rose Girls...but I am thinking I need an idea that is more original.

I did some celebrity costume searches and found some fab & fun costumes to get my creative juices flowing...

What are you going to be for Halloween this year?

  7. I have been dying for years to be a ring master, but it might be difficult to get the costume together in time because I always procratinate until the last minute. My friends and I were thinking about doing Moulin Rouge costumes, so we will see.

  8. Oh Heidi is always so creative. Haven't decided what I'm going as this year. I'm definitely not doing Jersey Shore or Gaga though because I know that will be way too popular :)

    Happy Thursday!

  19. It's funny because I've been stumped this year too! I actually haven't dressed up in a few years but I used to LOVE halloween costumes. I'm hoping I'll come up with something soon otherwise I might not dress up at all again and instead stay home and eat a lot of candy. Haha.

  20. I was a cowgirl 2 years ago and my BF was a cowboy - it was a lot of fun! It's a really easy costume to put together too, especially if you already have the cowboy boots! Last year I was Audrey Hepburn, which was another fairly simple look to throw together. This year I'm going to be a German Beer Girl, only because I found the costume at Goodwill for $5, lol! :)

  22. Some of our friends have an annual Halloween party so I need to start working on this! I'm so uncreative when it comes to Halloween, mostly because I have to rope Jared into dressing up, too so that's a battle lol.

  23. Heidi does such a great job every year... she's not afraid of looking weird (she doesn't have to look pretty and sexy all the time), which is great!

  24. It has been an AGE since I have read yours or anyone elses blog! It feels good to be back!

As for Halloween, love it but no one really takes it that seriously in the UK so I always just end up dressing up as a witch just at home with my sisters. Out loud that sounds pathetic! haha
