Today I'm Wearing by Olivia Palermo

For the month of April, Olivia Palermo has been keeping a fashion diary for Elle UK.  I think she has fabulous style and would trade closets with her in a second! Here are some of my fave looks:

Check out the rest of OP's looks at the site; what's your favorite?

What I'm Wearing Wednesday

It was 37 degrees this morning. It's going to be 80 on Saturday but in the 40s today...only in New England! Here's what I am wearing:

  • Tweed dress- got this in California
  • Target leggings
  • DSW suede boots
  • Ann Taylor zebra headband
  • Diamond studs
Sorry the pic quality is so bad! I need to get better at these... What are you wearing?

Also 2 thoughts on TV last night- Glee, eh not really impressed.  The saving graces were Kristin Chenoweth's voice and the "Beautiful" scene (and of course, Sue Sylvester's one-liners).  Secondly, I watched The Hills. I haven't since before LC left, but the previews sucked me in.  Can I just say that the whole scene with Heidi and her mom was seriously depressing. I felt so bad for her mom... And in the end, I feel really bad for Heidi. She clearly needed a therapist, not a plastic surgeon.  I don't know how the doctors and any of her friends/family let her go through with it. It seems like her mom barely knew the details of what she did. A shame.

Red sox game

I never got a chance to post some pictures from the Red Sox game last Monday.  Going to the game has become an annual tradition for me and my girls.  We enjoy beer, Fenway franks, singing along to Sweet Caroline, laughing, making new friends, and oh ya, watching the game.

my cuse ladies.

group pic.

nice view...

unfortunate score.

After the game at Cask n Flagon, I picked up something from a runner... ;)

Weekend recap

Happy Monday morning!  This weekend was so great- nice weather, fun times with friends, cleaning out/organizing my spring clothes, a jewelry box project with my mom... Here are some photo tidbits.

Brunch to "tailgate" for the Kenny Chesney movie (which I highly recommend if you heart KC!)

Enjoying mimosas on the roofdeck before the movie.

3D glasses=hot.

My mom's new jewelry box! I want one now!

Sadly there was one casualty to the fave Anlo jeans ripped!  There was a slight fraying hole that I discovered on Saturday night that was hidden enough, so I wore them anyways...
later on a RIIIIIPPPPP happened stepping into a cab at the end of the night-
thank goodness it was at the end of the night...ha.

:( RIP Anlos, you were so good to me.  I will miss your skinny zippered leg, comfy but chic fit, and the way you made my butt look.  Now time to find your replacement....

How was your weekend?

PS: I forgot to formally announce that I changed my blog domain to last week.
Please update your feeds and stay with me! :)

Earth Day 2010

Happy Earth Day!  With global warming a clear threat to our way of life and wild weather and natural disasters happening the past few years, it's more important than ever to take care of our planet for future generations. What we do now, makes all the difference in the world....literally!  What will you do today to celebrate Earth Day? Why don't you....
  • See Oceans and remember the beauty of our planet- ever since I saw this trailer at The Last Song movie, I have been dying to see this!
  • Recycle your old magazines- after flipping through and ripping out inspiration, I compile all my Vogues, Luckys, Marie Claires, etc. and make sure to put them in the blue bin.
  • Turn off lights and unplug unused electrical appliances.
  • Go green and buy eco-friendly clothing.
  • Cut down on plastic bag use- how chic are all these re-usable totes?

Happy Marathon Monday!

It's Marathon Monday for Massachusetts, and also Patriots Day.  The city shuts down as thousands of runner make the 26 mile trek from Holliston to Boston. The oldest marathon in the world- this is the 114th running!

I will be cheering on runners and heading to the Red Sox game- a yearly tradition for my and my friends.  :)

Plus, check out my marathon-ready look I created yesterday.

Style you Sunday: Marathon Monday

This week's Style you Sunday features Marathon Monday- an annual tradition in Boston.  Tomorrow thousands of runners take the streets to run the famous 26 miles of the oldest marathon in the world.

As a child, my town was along the runners' route, and since it was always school vacation, I'd go with my best friends and our moms and brothers to cheer on runners and hand out water.   Once I returned home from graduating from Syracuse, MM is more of a fun time involving alcohol (lol) and going to the Red Sox game.

Tomorrow's weather is cool and cloudy with a chance of rain.  Here's a look to combat the elements while cheering on runners and the Boys of Summer
