Hearts On Fire diamonds

A few weeks ago I was invited to attend a focus group for the lovely diamond company Hearts On Fire. Sitting amongst a round-table of 20-something ladies, we chatted with the HOF staff about our fashion likes & dislikes, favorite brands, what we like in jewelry (esp diamonds), and enjoyed some complimentary wine and cheese. Then the best part came- we got to try on about 40 different engagement rings! Every girl's dream, right?

Well after trying on various styles- vintage, modern, lots of bling, solitaires...I found my engagement ring! I know, you must be thinking "Jaime, um, you haven't mentioned getting engaged anytime soon..." and you'd be right. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I cannot find my dream ring now, right? ;)

Introducing, the Transcend. Yes, it's gorgeous, and the diamonds sparkle like no other, and it looks perfect on my left hand...

The Transcend was even was featured in Us Weekly!

So now the quest to find the man to give this baby to me... ha!

This week, MarieClaire.com showcased their 25 Most Iconic Film Looks of all Time. Back to school?

When opening my Daily Candy email this morning, I was immediately smitten by these cute clutches from Kate Spade. While I am not going back to school anytime soon, I canot help but think of "back to school shopping" each fall- even going as far as to continually ask my mom each August if we can go back to school shopping....she says no each year, but I still keep asking! ;)

Happy Monday everyone! This weekend's bridal shower and bachelorette for one of my Cuse roommates was a blast!

Show Us Your Soul

If you follow me on Twitter, you may remember seeing this Tweet about receiving a MinoHD Flip Camera. A few weeks ago, Kia Soul contacted me and asked me to write a post about my “soul” and what I’m passionate about in life. They generously sent me my very own Flip camera, and I immediately got to thinking about how I can show my soul.

I first got to thinking about who/what is important to me, and clearly friends and family topped the list. I thought about memories, times when I am happy, etc. and then it hit me, my favorite place, where I love to be- the beach. From boogey boarding for hours even when the water is 50 degrees in Maine, to seeing my toes in the clear pale blue water in the Caribbean, to scouring for shells and walking the shores, to smelling that disctinct ocean smell and visiting beaches all over the world- the beach has special meaning to me in my life. My times there carry some of the strongest memories of childhood and growing up.

That being said, enough introduction- time to Show My Soul.
