On Sunday I had the pleasure of visiting Holiday boutique in Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston. This adorable, feminine shop features "all things pretty" from clothes to jewelry and accessories. I went specifically to try on 2 dresses by Threadware. This emerging NYC-based clothing line is out with the debut season, and already I can tell that it's going to be in many, many stores across the country.
I tried on 2 of their dresses:
Dress #1 left: Double Collar dress
Dress #2 right: Rorschach Cross-back dress
I was immediately drawn to dress #1, as I love the yellow and gray combo, and there are pockets! Dress #2 I was anxious to try too, as the back criss-crosses, and the top pattern is whimsical and chic.
Dress #1: while it was a little big on top (though I think that is mostly my genes in that area...), the medium size fit perfectly elsewhere. I loved the pockets, of course, and the ruffled detail is very on trend.
Dress #2: this dress must've been quite popular at Holiday, for they only had 1 size- extra small. While this fit better up top, it was snug at the bottom. I think a medium probably would've worked here too.
I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable these silk dresses were- both under $250. I felt like I was trying on something special for me, and not mass produced. I can tell that the Holiday owners have an eye for having items that fit their clientele's style.
I couldn't help perusing around the store....and walked out with a fabulous Julie Haus skirt majorly on sale, that I am already picturing for a rehearsal dinner or bachelorette this summer or holiday party in winter.
For Like Ever- love it!
Aren't the pink bags cute too?
Thank you to Jessika & Kate at Holiday and Threadware for this opportunity! If you are in the Boston area- living or visiting- be sure to visit them at 53 Charles Street.

I love that store Jaime! And I really like the second dress you tried on. Looks like I might need to make a stop here soon.
