I've been saving this image of Jessica Alba on my desktop for weeks. I love the effortless vibe of the vest + maxi pairing. While a biker leather jacket or vest is typically not my style, I cannot help but want to recreate this look using a few maxis from my closet or some of these:
Would you wear this look?

I probably wouldn't wear it - I love maxis but I'm not really a leather vest person.
ReplyDeleteLove love love the maxis!!
ReplyDeleteI need a vest!
ReplyDeleteLove the grey vest!
ReplyDeleteMy plan was to wear a maxi skirt turned dress today! Now I'll add a vest!! Thanks. Great post :)
ReplyDeleteLove the look and the multistripe maxi! Great idea!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fab look. Jess pulls off the maxi like no other, I swear. Her boho chic in the past couple of years has really inspired and impressed me! xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit! Although, I don't think it's the outfit for me because I'm a shorty. I'm sure that you can rock it though ;]

ReplyDeleteI love vests! I have a few that I wear..but I have never bought any leather ones. Leather on me...not so much!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looks great on others but I don't think it would look good on me. I think you would have to be totally skin and bones to do it well
ReplyDeleteYup I would wear it in a heartbeat. I wear vests with dresses all the time but never have paired it with a maxi. Will have to now. Thanks for the idea :) xoxo
ReplyDeletemakes perfect post baby outfit!
ReplyDeletei love this look - I have been practicing, but have yet to come up with a good enough combo -- which means a shopping trip is in order!

I think I'd give this look a whirl - there is something quite appealing about it. Loving the center style! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh! I'm pretty into this look - it's a great way to polish the maxi without having to use a belt!
ReplyDeletemaxi dresses always look super awkward on me. I don't know why! But I'd definitely try it out!

ReplyDeletep.s. less than four days to get your entries in for my huge Whiting & Davis giveaway! a handbag of your choice could be yours...don't miss out :)
I think I would - Only I might have to cinch it at the waist, 'cause being a plus-size gal, if I don't create definition somewhere I can look like a sack of potatoes ;-)
ReplyDelete(thing that Jessica Alba obviously doesn't have to worry about)
