I've been a bad blogger lately with lots to do in anticipation of the future Mrs. A's wedding on Saturday and the Gs wedding down in DC on Sunday. I am feeling nostalgic that the end of summer is here. Didn't it just fly by? I am normally excited for cozy sweaters, boots, and crisp fall days filled with strolls down Newbury Street and a Saturday apple picking trip. Not so much this year. I am clinging to the official "end of summer" weekend and hoping for lots of sun--and maybe one more trip to the beach before summer bids us farewell for the year.
Are you ready for fall or holding on to summer?

On my side of the world we only have one season for the whole year, we only get Summer. I am missing the four seasons, I miss fall and spring time the most
ReplyDeleteGoing to miss summer, but I do love fall! :)

ReplyDeleteSummer did fly but I can't say it was 100% relaxing for me. Very busy time! I am looking forward to fall very much so.
ReplyDeleteI hate the end of summer. Really, the only thing that is keeping me from being really upset is knowing that we will be able to wear capes soon :) But oh, how I will miss the beach!!

I wish I'd been able to make it down to the beach more often, but other than that I say "good riddance" to summer! I feel like I spend most of the summer season longing for fall :)
ReplyDeleteYou're right, though, summer definitely flew by!
I think a bit of both...excited for fall clothes and layering and all the other fun things that come along with New England Fall but I feel like summer was so short!
ReplyDeleteI gotta say that I'm kinda ready for Fall, the weather has been too annoying so if it's not getting better... time to move to the next season. Good luck with the wedding!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are enjoying the summer. Sometimes we all need to enjoy life instead of sitting behind the computer cranking out posts! xo
ReplyDeleteLove these photos! I can't believe summer is almost over. It's gone by so fast. But I'm actually looking forward to some fall weather!

ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season - I love wearing jeans & boots while it's still not freezing out.
