Friday Faves

Being away most of the week with limited web access makes me realize how much time I spend on a computer, specifically blogging, reading blogs, Tweeting, and perusing Facebook. It's kind of amazing, I think, seeing as this has just come about in the last 3 years or so. What did I do with my time before Tweets & blogging?  Why did I have a pang of sadness/anxiety hitting "Mark as Read' to my 1000+ Google Reader?  Because I like reading blogs & being "social", and despite it becoming a norm in life now, I have to remind myself, it's not the end of the world to unplug and step away from technology.  So since I missed out on 1000+ posts, here's a lean list of faves and a pretty Newport mansion pic. :)  Enjoy your weekend!

  5. I enjoy blogging too! You really become attached to your readers and want to keep up with what's going on in their lives. On the weekends, I try to de-plug though. You definitely need to do things you love. Great post! Have a great weekend!

  11. You're lucky to have had a break from the interwebz. Lol. I cringe when I think about how much time I spend here. I honestly don't even remember how I filled my time before Facebook and even blogging. Oh god.
