I Put a Spell on You...

Happy Halloween!  Today's my last full day at work, and tonight instead of trick 'or' treating, I am packing for Europe.  So glad ABC Family put this on tv to entertain me; it's not Halloween without a viewing of Hocus Pocus, right?

Travel Essential: Cross Body Bag

Planning my trip to Europe, I knew my most important travel essential to pack was a cross body bag.  Pick-pockets happen, and it's the easiest to carry around key items (wallet, passport, sunglasses, etc.) leaving your hands free for shopping, picture taking, and most importantly, gelato eating.  Then the most difficult choice occurred, what bag to get? I did some searching narrowed it down to, oh 20, adorable ones in various colors & price points. I ended up scoring a purple leather bag from J.Crew for $50, but here are some fun ones I found along the way...

What are some of your travel accessory essentials?

A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

With the changing of the leaves and crisp days, I am reminded each year of times as a kid when my mom took my brother and I to the pumpkin patch.  It resulted in picking out our favorites (when we were old enough), a photo shoot, then carving spooky faces at home.
Looking at these pictures, I cannot help but smile... :)

Oh this picture too...

Happy Halloween week!

Friday Faves

Happy last weekend of October!  I am spending most of mine dog-sitting and doing all things- laundry, packing, organizing, making lists- for my trip.  Here are some faves of the week!

An Afternoon with Wicked Peacock

A couple weeks ago, I worked with Wicked Peacock for their blog. It was fun shooting in Beacon Hill, wearing gorgeous pieces from their lines, and chatting fashion & accessories.  Here are my behind the scenes pics...check out the post here.  Thanks again, Wicked Peacock team!

What I'm Wearing Wednesday: Woodstock Wedding

It was a rainy day on Friday, but on Saturday, the clouds gave away & the sun came out, just in time for an early evening ceremony at the Woodstock Inn.  All the details and DIY-work the bride and groom envisioned came together perfectly. After they said 'I do,' dancing, Smilebooth fun, and more dancing at the after-party ensued!  I wore...

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. W!

PS: If you missed yesterday's post...

Barcelona Through the Anthropologie Lens

Anthropologie just happened to shoot their October catalog in Barcelona and go behind the scenes of "Gaudi's Barcelona" in The Magazine. These images make me even more excited to stroll these Spanish streets, taking in the architecture & colors.
Some of my favorite pieces are this top, these pumps, and this sweater jacket.
