We got some snow on the ground this week in Boston - the first that has actually stuck! Just 'cause you're shoveling snow, doesn't mean you can't look cute doing it... right? :)

Merry Christmas Eve & My My Stocking

FEED stocking
Merry Christmas Eve! I hope you enjoyed this year's My Stocking series. Without further ado, here is my My Stocking and have a lovely holiday tonight & tomorrow!
2. Etsy gift card: So glad they created this! I am always perusing & shopping for unique items.

3. Patriots Throwback Winter Hat: Perfect for shoveling and showing team pride. :)
4. Coco Noir Perfume: I love this new Chanel scent!
5. Power Mate Plus for J.Crew iPhone Backup Battery: such a smart collaboration. I love the bright yellow.

Friday Faves

3 photo by me of my Grandpa's section on our Xmas tree,
Happy Friday before Christmas! Anyone venturing out for last minute gifts? I am pleased to say I am done with my shopping and only braved the mall once.  Here are some fave to kick off the weekend.
PS: It was one year ago that my grandpa passed away. Time sure does fly and thinking of him today & this holiday.

My Stocking: Jamie from Jamie of all Trades

The stocking: I love this stocking from Anthropologie. The think yarn makes it look so cozy you almost want to wear them!
1. A calendar: Call me old fashion but I love and still use paper calendars. I still carry around a paper calendar in my purse and have one at my desk. I would love this stand-up Snow & Graham calendar plus it's a mini calendar and would fit perfectly in a stocking.
2. A pouch: I carry multiple pouches around in my purse and always seem to need to replace them annually. This Tory Burch pouch would be really fun and practical so I can actually find something in my bag!

3. A bracelet: People always expect large or more expensive presents to be wrapped but I think it's fun to hide in a stocking. This Dannijo bracelet would be something someone could hide in mine!

4. A package of undies: It's tradition for my mom to give each of us a pair of undies in our stockings. I saw this gift pack from Hanky Panky and thought it would be fun to have sticking out of a stocking. Plus they make the best undies!
5. A $100 bill: My dad is the king of the last-minute gift and his go-to, last-minute gift is a nice, crisp $100 bill. This is a tradition I want to bring to my family. I thought tying the bill up with something fun, like these hair ties, would be really fun and surprising!
Thank you, Jamie, for our last guest My Stocking. Visit: Jamie of All Trades and check out mine on Monday!

Naughty or Nice?

It's two weeks until Christmas...
"He's making a list and checking it twice. Gonna find out who's..."
Naughty or Nice socks
Aren't these cute for a stocking stuffer? There's a luxe cashmere pair too.

My Stocking: Noelle from Rue Le Chat

My Purrfect Stocking: Noelle from Rue Le Chat
Bonjour, kittens. I was so very happy to receive an invitation from La vie... J’aime to participate in her annual holiday stocking series.

Custom designed Rue Le Chat Christmas stocking.

1. Animal Rescue League of Boston: Help cats, dogs and other animals who are helpless and homeless with a donation to the Animal Rescue League of Boston. My cat’s fancy face will be gracing an ornament on their holiday tree this season.

2. Judith Leiber Lion Clutch: I’ll be the cat’s meow carrying a crystal-covered lion clutch, but with a price tag of nearly $6,000, this glittering gem is something only found in my feline fantasies.

3. La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Cream: I love La Prairie. I’ve never been disappointed with any product from the luxury, Swiss skincare line. I hope you’re reading this Santa Claus because I’d love to drench my skin in a little caviar come Christmas morning.

4. The Widow Clicquot: The Story of a Champagne Empire and the Woman Who Ruled It: In preparation for my visit to Reims, France, the story behind the glamour and luxury surrounding the Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin empire is a must read.

5. Kate Spade Business Card Holder: There’s no better way to connect with someone than over lunch...or cocktails. I love this Kate Spade engraved “Let’s Do Lunch” business card holder. It’s so charming and also sends the right message to those in your professional network and social media circle.

Thanks, Noelle! Visit: Rue Le Chat

My Stocking: Emily from So Anthro

Stocking from HelloVioleta Etsy shop
I didn't even realize until I started to make this year's wish list how many bow details filled it! Here are five sweet little items I wouldn't mind waking up to on Christmas morning:
1. Dapper Bottle Stopper, BHLDN, $10
Holidays with my family mean lots of white wine! How adorable is this stopper to keep the bottles fresh?
2. Vickers Bow Bracelet, Kiel James Patrick, $58
If my budget allowed, I would snag one of these bow bracelets in every color-- from the polka dots to the plaid! The sweetest little feminine touch to any outfit, and the emerald green is especially festive.

I have lusted after this necklace for longer than I can remember-- Kate Spade just keeps bringing it back and continuing to tempt me!
4. Critter Earrings, Lilly Pulitzer, $38
Pink little wrapping bow earrings-- what's not to adore?

5. Colder Than You Bow Gloves, ModCloth, $18
I go through gloves like I go through hot cocoa in the winter, so the more pairs I have to choose from, the better. The detailing on these is too precious to resist!
Thanks, Emily! Who can resist a girly bow? :)  Visit: So Anthro

A Confetti Themed Baby Shower

On December 1st, my mom and I hosted a small baby shower for Mrs. A who is expecting a boy in January (see her wedding, bridal shower, bachelorette).  I perused Pinterest for several ideas and decided on confetti. My "Baby A Shower" board inspired the finished product...

Garland form Target | B A B Y letters cut out of this print from Etsy

Balloons and table setting of flowers & confetti in the vases.
flowers confetti in water

The menu: two quiches (including this Martha Stewart recipe that was so good), sandwiches, salad, a tomato zucchini gratin (based on this Emeril recipe), and cupcakes.
Champagne/sparkling water glasses

Invitation, a small bouquet of baby's breath, & quintessential diaper cake!

Onesie line: guests brought a "creative" onesie and the mama-to-be named her favorite. The winner got a prize.

I bought the Mazel one.
"It's a boy" Hershey Kisses | nail polish favors

The little one is all ready to cheer on the Cuse!

Congrats to the future parents, and I cannot wait to meet him next month!
