They say it's good to start your day with lemon water, as it supposedly helps jump start your metabolism and boost your immune system. Even better, you should drink it hot. In the morning my instinct has been coffee, coffee, coffee, but with a recently purchased pitcher (similar), I've started slicing up some lemons on a Sunday to have fresh lemon water ready to go for the week.
Not sure if it's helping my metabolism or warding off the flu, but it certainly can't hurt to stay hydrated!
What do you think... does this healthy tip have any value for you?

ReplyDeleteI drink so much water... I need to start remembering to add lemon to it! Sometimes I try to make some with cucumber and mint :)
ReplyDeleteI do this too! Or, I'll just heat up water and ad a few sprigs of mint...it's like making your own tea!
