San Francisco Snapshots

San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge

It was a whirlwind few days in San Francisco. I traveled out for a work event, and normally don't have too much time to sight-see. This year, my colleague and I caught the 6am flight on Sunday out of Boston to explore most of Sunday, and we squeezed in a touristy boat ride on the bay Tuesday night post-event.  I really enjoyed exploring the city and eating some delicious (and sweet- it is the home of Ghirardelli after all) food.
First arriving on Sunday... hello, Alcatraz.
Pier 39...what a circus!
Note: they are sea lions, not seals.  Thank you, kind rude SF man.

Stopping by the crookedist street.
Refreshing take on the bellini: Delfina's Cherry Bellini.

I'm on a boat.  (couldn't resist)

It got quite windy....

San Fran, hope to visit you again soon!

PS: Jana Miller's handletter #97 was quite relevant.
