On this New Year's Eve, it's nice to reflect on the year that's completing, before we look to what lies ahead in 2014...
January kicked off with a fun DIY animal bookends project, I made some easy, pepperoni pizza crescent rolls for a belated Secret Snowflake exchange with friends, and was part of Wicked Peacock's #WickedFavoriteThings event.
February started out very snowy but ended warm when I visited Miami and West Palm Beach. I also visited a good friend in Ft. Worth.

March is always a celebration with Southie's annual St. Patty's day parade.
In April, I visited a new shop, Bee's Knees, saw Jason Wu In Conversation at the ICA, and was more proud than ever to be a Bostonian. DC made his blog debut after we visited our alma mater for the weekend.
May was a busy month: I turned 28 and celebrated, my brother graduated from grad school, I guest posted at Wherabouts sharing pictures from Barcelona, and DC & I had a Memorial Day stay cation.
In June, this blog celebrated 4 years, I went to San Francisco for work, and Newport summer fun began!
In July, I shared my weekends in Newport (journal 2, 3, 4, 5), my stars & stripes DIY sneakers, and my fragrance evolution. I saw Joanne Chang at the ICA's Tasting Talk. We threw a baby shower for my step brother and sister in law.
August, I spent my weekends in Newport (journal 6, 7, 8) and shared my deck makeover, including a custom bench creation. I also guest blogged at Pop & Circumstance sharing my fall home decor wish list.
November started out not so great when I suffered some back pain, but realized I have something (someone) special and it was all uphill from there! I started a new job, we had our annual Girls Thanksgiving, I enjoyed a holiday tasting with fellow Boston bloggers at Urban Grape, and finally visited Terrain!
December was a month of celebrations....birthdays, holidays, and an engagement!
I look forward to seeing what 2014 brings!

October started off with bling, when I visited Hearts on Fire to check out their new collections. I also shared some favorite DIY pumpkin ideas,
