Celebrating love this Valentine's Day

This Valentine's Day, I wanted to discuss the love beyond that of a significant other that is so heavily promoted around this time of year.  Growing up, my mom always had a small gifty for my brother and I, and I always look forward to getting flowers from my dad.  Valentine's Day can be so overly marketed and pressure-filled that when you are single you feel more alone, and when you are coupled, you feel like you have to do something so special (when really, it's just another day of the year!).

I put together a few gift ideas to show the people in your life how much you love them; a little something that goes beyond just February 14.

Your mom will know how much you love her, when she drinks her coffee each morning out of a personalized mug.

Your bestie will know how much you value her friendship, when she puts on these initial earrings. Like a modern "friendship bracelet", you have your initials and she hers.

Every time your brother or sister uses his or her phone, and let's face it that's a lot, they'll remember your special sibling bond with a leather iPhone case/wallet (option for him and for her).

And of course, for your significant other, who won't forget your love anytime of day with this acrylic photo block of a favorite memory for his/her desk at work.

If all else fails, there is always chocolate :)
What are you gifting your loved ones this year on Valentine's Day?

This post is in collaboration with Tiny Prints. Post concept and opinions are my own. I was compensated with the acrylic photo block for participation. Thanks, Tiny Prints! All photos are linked except last one, taken by me.
