For my meal, like I needed it after our apps, was the sable bagel sandwich. I usually get nova lox but decided to change it up with something new to me. This smoked fish was so creamy & light and went perfectly with the dill cream cheese, pickled cucumbers, arugula, and watermelon radishes (added a great fresh crunch). My friends had the nova bagel plate, eggs over a potato hash, breakfast sandwich (challah bread!), and noodle kugel.
For desserts, we had the already mentioned second order of blintzes and a slice of chocolate babka, which reminded me of a chocolate croissant - a delicious finish.
The restaurant atmosphere is fun & upbeat. I loved the overall branding too. After eating, we explored a corner of the restaurant with a variety of Jewish novelty items for sale. These cards are so fun!
Can't wait to go back for lunch and try Mamaleh's reuben sandwich (and get more blintzes)! They have a take-out deli counter too!
All photos by me. This post is not sponsored or affiliated with Mamaleh's any any way- just loved the food!
